We are a small group of extraordinary gentlemen that take the occasional hike on the Appalachian Trail. Most of us have completed the entire stretch of the AT in Georgia. It is our charter to share this experience with all those that care to join us. We are by no means experts, but you learn a lot by doing it wrong the first time. Pain and misery are great teachers. Most folks are under the impression that you have to be an athlete to backpack in the mountains; you don't. If you are in reasonable physical shape you too can enjoy the best of the great outdoors.
